Leather furniture can start to lose its good looks after some time, depending on the amount of wear and frequency of cleaning. The leather may get dirty, fade or even start to crack. For anybody who still doesn't want to give up their favourite furniture, we have put together some advice and help in this section.

 

Which leather repairs can I do myself?

Anyone with a bit of skill at handiwork and patience can certainly repair minor leather damage and blemishes themselves. This includes

• Thorough cleaning, even in the event of heavy and stubborn soiling, right through to grease shines

• Color matching if the colour has faded slightly

• Repairing slight scratches and superficial abrasions (e.g. caused by pets)

When do I need to call in a specialist?

Your leather sofa is a collector’s item, but is it already showing clear signs of wear? Has it taken a lot of punishment, or perhaps even suffered some damages? Faded? No worries - our leather specialists will repair or recondition it for you and soon have it looking as good as new again!
