We take privacy and confidentiality very seriously and we comply with the national and European data protection regulations in force. The main aspects of our data storage policy are outlined below.

We use the data you provide in order to carry out and process your order. Personal data are your personal details and contact details, such as your name, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number or postal address. LCK collects, processes and uses (“uses”) the personal data you provide insofar as necessary to establish, carry out or terminate a contractual obligation or similar obligation with you. Such an obligation arises for example if you subscribe to a newsletter, if you take part in surveys, prize competitions, contests, product tests or raffles, if you wish to receive product samples or if you contact us in order to obtain information about us or our products. In such cases we use your personal data to process your particular request. You are free to decide whether to provide us with your data for these purposes. If the nature of your request permits, you can contact us anonymously or under a pseudonym.

Apart from that, we will not pass on your personal data to a third party without your permission, nor will we sell or hire out data. However, we reserve the right to disclose information about you if we are obliged to do so by law or if we are asked to surrender data by lawfully acting authorities or criminal prosecution authorities.

Our websites may use social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) linked to social networks, in particular the “Like” button offered by the provider Facebook, whose website facebook.com is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The German website facebook.de is the responsibility of Facebook Ireland Limited, Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. The plug-ins are usually identified by a Facebook logo. As well as Facebook we use plug-ins supplied by Google+ (provider: Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The following remarks about Facebook apply accordingly to that provider. You can find more information about the use of data by Google+ at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. If you visit one of our websites that contains a plug-in, your Internet browser will set up a link to the Facebook servers and the information that you have visited our website will be passed on to Facebook, even if you have not logged into Facebook and irrespective of whether you actually use the plug-ins, i.e. click on them.

If while visiting our website you are logged on to Facebook via your user account, Facebook can link the visit to our website with your user account. If you click the "Like" button that will be transmitted to Facebook and stored there, in particular in order to share the “Like” information with your Facebook friends. The same thing happens if you use the “Pass on”, “Share” or “Share with friends” options available on some of our websites. We have no control over the nature or extent of the data transmitted to Facebook. Nor do we know in a particular case which of your data have been transmitted to Facebook or what purpose Facebook uses those data for. Your IP address is always transmitted and, according to Facebook itself, information about the website visited, the data and time of the visit and other browser-related information. For further information about Facebook go to: http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=186325668085084. If you do not want Facebook to be able to link your visit to our website with your Facebook user account, you should log off your Facebook user account before going on to our website. You can find more information about the collection, storage and use of your personal data by Facebook and the opt-out options available to you to protect your personal data in the Facebook privacy statement at http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
