Upholstered furniture with velvet cover is absolutely trendy at the moment. They charm with stylish, iridescent colors and their pleasant cuddle factor, but unfortunately they are a bit sensitive in everyday use. Because cleaning agents would sometimes harden and "stick" the fine fibers together, dry cleaning is recommended.

The special PURATEX^® care brush for velvet upholstery is ideal for regular cleaning and refreshing of sensitive velvet fabrics. It can be used to brush off superficial dust, as well as loose and coarser dirt. Regular use helps to restore the fine, sensitive fibers.
First, carefully brush the velvet/velour over a large area with the care brush without pressure. Then, vacuum up the brushed-out fibers/fluff/threads, using the vacuum cleaner's upholstery nozzle at the lowest setting (max. 500 watts).
