Artificial leather care

What should I bear in mind when cleaning and caring for artificial leather? The cleaning and care of imitation leather furniture differs considerably from that of real leather: unlike real leather, artificial leather is not re-greased after cleaning but treated with a special moisturizer.

The closed PVC coating of artificial leather cannot absorb greasy care products, which would simply leave an unsightly film on the surface.
