KERALUX® Colour Repair Set N "Basic"
The KERALUX® Colour Repair Set N is ideal for adapting minor scratches and light fading. Refreshes the colour of your leather furniture!
The colour lotion is mixed exactly according to your original leather sample.
Please remember to give us the exact leather designation (manufacturer + reference number) in the remarks field when you place your order. If you do not know these details, please send us a small leather sample in advance. We should receive this within 4 weeks, otherwise the order will be automatically canceled.
Please note: KERALUX® Colour Lotion is only suitable for slightly faded leather to refresh the colour and to adapt the colour of light scratches (scratches are surface injuries that are not closed by the lotion, but only retouched). In the case of leather with a two-tone effect, the treated area will become plain, as the colour lotion can only be produced in one color. In these cases, we produce a mid-tone of all colour shades.
It is NOT suitable for heavily faded leather and is not intended to cover existing stains or strong colour differences.
After treatment with the KERALUX® Colour Lotion, we recommend treating the furniture with KERALUX® Care Lotion N (Art.No. 3094) and KERALUX® Protection Spray N with sun protection (Art.No. 3090). Please order both products separately.

Important information in advance:
• If the leather is dry, first remove the house dust with a soft, dry or slightly damp cotton cloth or the Cleaning Glove.
• If the leather is slightly dry and the writing effect is still present:
Nubuck leather is then ‘pre-nourished’ evenly with KERALUX® Care Lotion N, applying it generously from seam to seam. Allow to dry thoroughly overnight. This process can be repeated up to 3 times. This will restore sufficient nourishment (refatting) to the leather and make it much more receptive to the colour lotion. Afterwards, it is essential to wait one month before cleaning and then refreshing the colour.
• If the leather is very dry and there is no longer any writing effect:
Nubuck leather is then ‘pre-nourished’ with KERALUX® Leather Balm. Allow to dry thoroughly overnight. This process can be repeated up to 3 times. This provides the leather with sufficient nourishment (refatting) and makes it much more receptive to the colour lotion. Afterwards, it is essential to wait one month before cleaning and then refreshing the colour.
With this procedure, the KERALUX® Cleaning Cloth N is not required!

• If the leather has slightly darker, greasy, stained areas:
Usually on the headrest and armrest areas, remove these with the KERALUX® Cleaning Cloth N according to the instructions.
• If the leather has significantly darker, greasy and stained areas:
Usually on the headrest and armrest areas, remove these with the Degreaser Spray according to the instructions.
How to use the KERALUX Colour Repair Set:
1. Cleaning with KERALUX® Strong Cleaner
Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a small amount of KERALUX® Strong Cleaner to a soft sponge and squeeze to create a foam. Test for compatibility on a hidden area. Never apply directly to the leather. Now move the sponge over the leather in gentle circular movements, covering a large area from seam to seam. For stubborn stains, wrap a soft, lint-free cloth around a soft brush, apply a little KERALUX® Strong Cleaner to the cloth and rub the leather gently. After cleaning, wipe the leather with a damp cotton cloth. Use distilled water to avoid limescale marks. Then allow to dry thoroughly! A slight colour intensification after using KERALUX® Strong Cleaner on nubuck leather is completely normal and usually evens out over time.
If necessary, brush the writing effect/nubuck pile back in all directions with a soft, dry and clean brush or use the KERALUX® Cleaning Cloth N for this purpose according to the instructions.
2. Colour refreshment with KERALUX® Colour Lotion N
Shake the bottle vigorously for 1-2 minutes before use. Test for compatibility on a hidden area. Apply a small amount of KERALUX® Colour Lotion N to a soft, lint-free cloth, rub it in and spread it evenly and thinly over the leather using gentle circular movements.
Work over a large area, always moving from seam to seam. Never apply KERALUX® Colour Lotion N directly to the leather. Now leave the leather to dry thoroughly for several hours. Repeat these two steps several times if necessary (max. 3 times).
The adhesion of the dyes can vary greatly depending on the substrate.
Brush the treated areas again in all directions with a soft, dry and clean brush or use the KERALUX® Cleaning Cloth N as instructed.
If the nubuck leather was slightly dry, treat it with KERALUX® Care Lotion N after approx. one week. If the nubuck leather was very dry, treat it with KERALUX® Leather Balm after approx. one week. Initial colour changes usually even out again after the drying time.
Please note: For nubuck (rough leather, suede, wild leather), we recommend a final treatment with KERALUX® Protection Spray N with sun protection.
